Trinidad is a pediatric pulmonologist trained in Chile.

Her main interests focus on improving the quality of life of children with asthma, particularly by finding strategies to enhance treatment adherence among adolescents. She is also passionate about children’s sleep health and has worked closely with patients with sleep-disordered breathing.

During her career, Trinidad has conducted research on sleep-disordered breathing, describing risk factors for developing obstructive sleep apnea in school-aged children and exploring its association with air pollution. She has also aimed to describe infants sleep habits that are related to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

As part of the TRP, she hopes to challenge herself, learn innovative ways to address clinical problems, and gain hands-on skills to lead efficient, collaborative teams to improve children’s health.

Trinidad loves spending time with her family. She is a mother of four and enjoys outdoor activities and discovering new places together.
