Arshia Sarah

Arshia is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where she earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Genome Biology and Health and Disease.

Her academic and professional interests lie in bridging research and real-world impact, with a particular emphasis on improving healthcare systems for marginalized communities. She hopes to focus her translational research on sexual and reproductive health, especially for women, LGBTQ+ communities and people of colour. In addition, her professional experiences have allowed her to engage in mental health advocacy and community-based promotion initiatives.

Through the TRP, Arshia aims to deepen her understanding of translational research and contribute to equitable, human-centred interventions in healthcare.
