Fees and funding
The current tuition fees for our program are $10,550 (domestic) or $43,940 (international). These may be subject to change.

Funding
As a professional Masters program, the Translational Research Program (TRP) does not offer guaranteed stipends. You are expected to learn how to seek and apply for both project and individual funding.
Program awards
Early Entrance Award
Those who submit a completed application by the Early Entrance Award deadline to the Translational Research Program will be automatically considered for this merit-based award, provided they are offered admission to the program.
Please note:
- Award amounts are not guaranteed and may vary year to year.
- All required application documents must be submitted by the early deadline to be eligible.
- No separate application is required for the award.
- Award decisions are finalized in August, and selected recipients will be contacted directly.
We encourage all eligible applicants to apply early to be considered for this opportunity.
TRP Bursary
- The bursary is designed to support full-time graduate students in the MHSc TRP program whose financial needs are not fully met through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) or other government student loan programs. It is not intended to serve as a source of routine or long-term funding, nor is it meant to address overall debt load upon graduation.
- Application packages are available in September to registered students.
Scholarships
Each year, our students receive major awards including the Ontario Graduate Scholarships and the Canada Graduate Research Scholarship (CGRS-M).
- Canada Graduate Research Scholarship (CGRS-M). Deadline December 1. Find out more on the Government of Canada website.
- Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS). This scholarship recognizes academic excellence in graduate studies in all disciplines of academic study. Minimum A- average is required. Find out more on the School of Graduate Studies website.
