Nikki is a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University where she earned an Honours degree in Biomedical Sciences. She has research experience in cellular systems and as a clinical volunteer at the Hospital for Sick Children, where she developed an interest in bridging research and patient care. During her undergraduate studies, Nikki was actively involved in student-led organizations such as Hemoglobal, Bags of Promise, and the Undergraduate Science Society of Toronto Metropolitan University, where she strengthened her skills in community engagement.

In the Translational Research Program, she hopes to use collaborative problem-solving to make impactful innovations in healthcare and expand her knowledge. Her research interests include knowledge mobilization to improve equitable access to care. Outside of her studies, she enjoys spending time in nature, baking, and creating art.
