Muhammad Anns Asif
BHSc
I pursued an undergraduate degree in B.Sc. Honours Biomedical Sciences at Toronto Metropolitan University.
I was interested in patient care and mental health support for underserved communities and gained valuable experience working in dermatology and pharmacy clinics in Pakistan. I shadowed and conducted research alongside leading physicians at the Cleveland Clinic and The National Spine and Pain Centres, highlighting the significance of non-invasive treatment that aim to improve patient’s quality of life.
In the TRP, I aim to develop hands-on skills that utilize my professional, personal, and academic skills to assist marginalized communities and understand systemic mental health and patient care barriers. I continue to foster motivation and dedication to serve the underserved, and I feel fortunate to work alongside professionals, mentors, and peers willing to guide me.
I enjoy basketball, playing video games, and drawing outside of work.
