Trixia is a graduate with High Distinction from the University of Toronto focusing on Physiology, Immunology and Health & Disease. Through her years of coordinating Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy clinical trials at The Hospital for Sick Children as a Clinical Research Project Coordinator, she became passionate about providing patients with equitable access to innovative treatments. Furthermore, Trixia has worked for a decade instructing students in valuable life skills, first-aid and swimming as a City of Toronto Lifeguard and Swim Instructor. By volunteering in various clinical and community settings, such as, the Mount Sinai Hospital MAUVE Program and the NICU, she developed a strong desire to contribute interdisciplinary interventions for effective and safe optimization of healthcare delivery.

As a current student of the TRP Program at the University of Toronto, Trixia is excited to make a meaningful impact for patients and the healthcare community.

Outside of academics, Trixia enjoys swimming, photography, cafe hopping, and exploring markets and conventions.
