Research Interests
Neurodiversity, Paediatrics

Kasthuri is a recent graduate from Queen’s University in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program.

Throughout her time at Queen’s, Kasthuri developed an interest in neurodevelopmental science as she worked as an instructor therapist for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD), and as a research assistant working with participants with ASD and/or ADHD. This interest in clinical neuroscience grew to encompass the role of music as a neuromodulator.

Kasthuri is excited to take part in the Translational Research Program to learn and implement ways to make a real difference in patients’ lives and healthcare innovation.

Outside of academia, Kasthuri enjoys spending time with her friends and family and keeping active through outdoor activities and recreational sports. Kasthuri is also a life-long violinist and continues to incorporate music into her personal and academic endeavours.
