Hansika Dhari

I am a medical graduate from the University of Mauritius (MBBS) and a licensed doctor in India and the UK. At university, I was involved in a qualitative clinical study which explored the effects of multi-morbidity on aging populations and it piqued my interest in the burden of cancer on society. During my clinical practice in India, I noticed a major gap between innovations in cancer and their translation to bedside care which motivated me to pursue an MHSc in Translational Research with the TRP. I have also worked closely with community health centers and Rotaract clubs in India to promote health equity and accessible healthcare in rural communities by organizing screening camps and health awareness drives.
