Research Interests
Cardiology, Heart failure, Quality Improvement, Immunology

I graduated from Queen's University with an Honour's Bachelor of Health Sciences.

During my undergraduate degree, I had the opportunity to complete a quality improvement study as an undergraduate research student at the Kingston Heart Function Clinic, exploring heart failure under Dr. Aws Almufleh. I hope to continue improving upon my understanding of cardiac health research and finding new opportunities to improve cardiac health.

For my undergraduate thesis, I had the privilege of exploring my interests in immunology under Dr. Jacob Rullo, where I investigated the ocular mucosa in the mucosal immune response. This experience allowed me to explore basic sciences and laboratory practices, helping me to improve upon my skills in research.

Outside of academics, I love playing soccer and following both the English and Spanish soccer leagues. I also love food and enjoy trying new and exciting restaurants with my friends whenever I can!
