Betsy is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Disease, Psychology, and Physiology. Her primary research interest is preventive medicine, with a focus on developing interventions that help individuals reduce their risk of disease. She is also interested in neurology, cognitive neuroscience, Personalized medicine, epigenetics, cardiology, medical technology, and artificial intelligence.

Through the Translational Research Program, Betsy hopes to translate her academic and research experiences into meaningful, practical solutions that improve population health outcomes, while further developing her skills in science communication. Betsy aims to contribute to healthcare innovation by creating solutions that meaningfully improve patient outcomes and promote better population health.

Beyond her academic interests, Betsy enjoys photography, traveling, and hiking, as well as spending quality time with family and friends.
