Research Interests
Immunodeficiency disorders, Women's health

Ayyah is a 2024 Graduate of Queen’s University where she completed her Bachelor of Science (with honours) degree, majoring in Life Sciences.

Coming from a very diverse background, Ayyah has expressed a strong passion in advocating for others through the form of improving healthcare systems. She hopes to narrow her translational research interests into the field of sexual and reproductive health, focusing on minorities such as women and people of colour.

Outside of academia, Ayyah enjoys farming various fruits and vegetables on her parent’s farm, thrifting unique outfits and trinkets, and traveling to new places around the world.

This year, Ayyah aims to achieve her short-term goal of better familiarizing herself with Canada’s healthcare system and learning more effective and efficient ways to support minorities in medicine, whether they be patients or medical personnel.
