Bio Brief

Yuan Lew is a Business Development Manager for Ontario Centres of Excellence, Central Ontario region. She has over 12 years of experience in early-stage technology commercialization both in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining OCE in July 2015, Yuan was at University Health Network’s (UHN) technology transfer office where she was a manager of healthcare-related intellectual property and partnership transactions. Yuan has built a reputation as a proactive and collaborative individual. As a senior-level business development professional at UHN, she facilitated numerous academic-industry collaborations, including successfully negotiating several technology licenses to private sector receptors. During her time at UHN, Yuan also participated in different leadership and advisory roles to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Prior to UHN, Yuan was an Investment Analyst at a venture capital firm specializing in life sciences investments. Yuan holds an MSc in immunology and an MBA from Memorial University.
