Bio Brief

With her newfound knowledge and experiences from the TRP Program, Maame hopes to tackle issues in reproductive health experienced by women of color in Canada. Maame’s past work alongside a child life specialist at North General hospital has provided her with a firsthand glance into the workings of health care systems and has provided her with a concrete understanding of patient-oriented care. She hopes to find effective ways to create better communication between physicians and women of color to better the overall reproductive health of these women.
