The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology (LMP) held its annual research conference earlier this month. More than 120 graduate and postgraduate trainees from across the department presented their research posters or oral presentations to an audience of leaners and faculty, including students from the Translational Research Program.

Several TRP alumni joined the day to help judge posters and TRP instructor, Sandy Marshall, delivered a workshop on "Writing Grants that Glow".

Shayan Novin was chosen to present his group's project as an oral presentation on the day: "Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Access Navigator: Creating a Comprehensive 'Application Cheat Sheet' for the Trillium Drug Program".

The best translational research poster award went to Alya Mohmood, Aflyn Amaleethan, and Gabriela Roselli Ferrari for their project, “Optimizing the Transition of Cancer Survivorship Care from Oncologists to Primary Care Providers”.

Congratulations all!
