Research Interests
Mental health, Psychedelics/Cannabis (Marijuana)

I graduated from the Life Science program at the University of Toronto double majoring in neuroscience and pharmacology.

Throughout my undergrad studies, I engaged in various research projects exploring the neurological basis of psychiatric disorders, which fueled my passion for mental health research. During my research tenure at CAMH, I authored a manuscript focusing on youth bipolar disorder, subsequently published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology. Currently at VileLight Inc., I contribute to assessing depression severity among research participants in a study testing the effects of a brain stimulation device on patients with depression.

Overall, I am passionate about improving care for patients with psychiatric conditions, with a keen interest in studying the therapeutic potential of psychedelic substances to improve mental health outcomes. My goal is to contribute to the integration of psychedelic therapies into Canada's healthcare system, advocating for evidence-based approaches to mental health treatment.
