Notes on tuition fees
- The fee schedules for 2024-2025 as outlined above were approved by the Governing Council.4
- Tuition fee increases for domestic students are maintained at the maximum limits established under the Tuition Fee Framework or by internal commitments (maximum 5%) for the normal length of a full-time program.
- Tuition fee rates for each year are effective May 1st. For example, the tuition fees for 2024-25 commence in the Summer 2024 session.
- Domestic tuition fees for new programs are subject to Ministry review and approval.
Funding
As a professional Masters program, the Translational Research Program (TRP) does not offer guaranteed stipends. You are expected to learn how to seek and apply for both project and individual funding
Program awards:
TRP Bursary: Once in the program, domestic students may apply for a limited number of needs-based TRP bursaries.
Scholarships:
Each year, our students receive major awards including the Ontario Graduate Scholarships and the Canada Graduate Scholarship – Masters.
Canada Graduate Scholarships Masters (CGS-M)
Amount: $17,500 for 12 months
Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS)
Amount: $5,000 per session
SGS “University-Wide” Awards
Amount: varying
Student acccomplishments
Each year, our students receive major awards including the Ontario Graduate Scholarships and the Canada Graduate Scholarship – Masters. Students in the TRP program were interviewed as a part of the Department of Laboratory Medicine’s yearly award feature.
