Four year BA or BSc, graduate degree or MD degree from a recognized university.

Academic credentials and background preparation appropriate to the field of study
Academic Average
A minus (A-) average in 3 of the last 4 years of study (including the final year)

A curriculum vitae is a short written summary of a person’s career, qualifications, and education.Â
- There is no set template for your CV
- Inclusion of relevant extracurricular experience is permitted
You will need to upload copies of your transcript(s) in the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) online application portal.Â

- We can make admission offers based on your uploaded transcripts, but must receive hard copies of your transcripts before you can register in the program Â
- You must have your academic institution(s) mail official hard copies of your transcript(s) to the TRP office as instructed by the application website before you can registerÂ
- If your transcript or degree is not in English, you must arrange to have the document translated by a certified translation service, embassy or consulateÂ

We require 3 reference letters, with one of those letters being from an academic reference. References must be submitted by referees via the online application system.

- Referees complete the reference once instructions are sent by the online system
*Any non-academic referees should be able to speak to your capacity and performance. Referees cannot be family, friends (peers) or other applicants
If you have been educated at a non-Canadian institution, your educational background will be assessed for equivalency with a University of Toronto degree. See more on the SGS website.
We encourage international students to apply early to ensure sufficient time for review and securing a study permit (student visa).
If you received your previous degree from a university where English is NOT the language of instruction, you must complete a recognized English Language Proficiency Test (within the last two years) before applying to the TRP

- Upload your supporting documents
Checking the status of your appliction
We will assess your application until:
- You have paid the SGS application fee
- Your online application is fully complete and submitted
- We have received all required documents by the deadline
Rolling Admissions
We conduct interviews and send offer letters on an ongoing basis. We therefore encourage you to apply early for a better chance of securing a limited spot in our program. If spots are filled, you may be placed on a waitlist.
