Description

In Rhetoric of Science, students will learn how to communicate persuasively: how to engage a range of target audiences, how to communicate complex concepts, and how to change an audience’s opinions or behaviours. The course will provide opportunities to strengthen critical thinking, effective communication, learning continuously, and team contribution.

Sandy is a medical writer with an enthusiasm for clear and compelling communication. She has conducted research in cardiology, burn injury, and hematology research labs. She transitioned from benchwork to communications and founded Marshall Medical Communications, a biomedical writing and editing firm with clients in Canada, China, and the United States.
