I am Subiksha Nagaratnam, a second-year Translational Research Program student. I have around 5 years of clinical research experience working in hospitals on a variety of research projects in the fields of oncology, orthopaedic surgery and cardiovascular surgery. I am passionate about health systems research, equitable healthcare, science communication, and identifying areas for enhancing our health system to improve individual and population level health outcomes.

Professionally, I currently work as a Clinical Research Study Assistant and Fellowship Coordinator for the Division of Cardiac Surgery at Toronto General Hospital.
