I am currently a Graduate Student in the Translational Research Program (MHSc) at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. My capstone project aims to prototype a mobile phone application for remote monitoring of CAR T-cell therapy patients after hospital discharge.
Prior to joining the TRP, I graduated from Western University in the Integrated Science Program with an Honours Specialization in Biology. During my undergraduate degree I worked full-time for one year through Western's Science Internship program in medical device development and cell and gene therapy manufacturing. Through hands-on research in both academia and the biotechnology industry, I have developed strong molecular biology laboratory skills and become experienced in GMP, experimental design, data analysis, presenting results, and scientific writing. I am passionate about effective problem-solving and driven to use my unique education and skillset to make a difference in health care. In my current role at Bluerock Therapeutics, I support clinical development through the optimization and qualification of analytical methods for use in a GMP environment.
