Brianna Dunstan is a researcher, student and artist currently pursuing a Master's degree in Translational Research at the University of Toronto. They completed their undergraduate studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, earning an HBSc in Health Science with a major in health science and minors in biology and psychology.
With a keen interest in fostering inclusivity in healthcare, Brianna has accumulated over 2 years of research experience in inclusive patient engagement. Their commitment to health equity and representation in health research and innovation is evident in their academic pursuits and research endeavours.
During their undergraduate years, Brianna served as the executive administrator for the Black Medical Leaders of Tomorrow at Wilfrid Laurier University. In this role, they demonstrated leadership and a dedication to promoting diversity in the medical field.
Furthermore, Brianna extended their advocacy beyond the academic realm as the radio show host of 'The Basement,' a program affiliated with the Association of Black Students at Wilfrid Laurier University. Through this platform, they engaged in insightful discussions on the social, educational, and mainstream contexts affecting visible minorities pursuing post-secondary education.
