Arani Ravichandran is a dedicated professional in science-based problem-solving, aiming to bridge the gap between knowledge and impactful interventions, particularly in health and medicine. With a focus on human-centered designs, she collaborates to address challenges in healthcare and environmental health.
She is passionate about the importance of policy and the social determinants of health to co- design interventions that resonate with diverse communities. Currently, her capstone project is centered around improving the health and safety of wildland firefighters by enhancing respiratory protective equipment and implementing mitigation strategies to reduce smoke exposures.
Outside of academia, Arani enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and yoga.
