If COVID-19 has taught us anything, being able to communicate remotely with others is extremely important. Making connections in the midst of a global pandemic has been hard, and social interaction has been lacking. The TRP Social Committee has been striving to keep our students and cohorts connected. Virtual Saturday morning informal Coffee Chats have been a great way to catch up with friends and make new ones from the comfort of your own home.

The latest Saturday Coffee Chat session was filled with lots of laughs, movie & TV show suggestions, and cute feline introductions. The conversations allowed new students and first-year students to ask questions about the program, the capstone process, and life after TRP. “As a second-year student, it’s been nice to help guide other students as they transition into the program. I have found that everyone in the program is so welcoming, helpful, and friendly and we really foster a sense of community,” says Vida Maksimoska.
