Research Interests:

The implementation of health innovation into Canada's government regulated health care system.

Brief Bio:

MSc and MHSc graduate with a breadth of knowledge in the fields of translational research and informatics. Deep understanding of the Canadian health innovation implementation space. Strong background in functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and sophisticated knowledge of electronic clinical data collection. Experience with project management, business development, research, operations, knowledge translation, as well as big data and analytics. Has entrepreneurial skills from owning and operating an estate jewellery business.

Capstone Project:

There are barriers to implementing new health care innovation into hospitals.

The aim of this project is to identify the barriers to collaborative academic-industry partnerships in the health technology sector, as well as identify common goals between these two stakeholders to determine if collaborative partnerships can be improved. Depending on our findings, this project will also determine whether a viable business opportunity exists to improve collaboration between industry and academic stakeholders in the health technology sector.
