Dr. Rachel Kim

BSc, MD, FRCSC

Affiliations: Clinical Fellow in Division of Gynecologic Oncology

Research Interests:

My research interests include endometrial cancers, hereditary cancers, and fertility-sparing approaches to cancer treatment. I am currently part of a cancer genomics lab with a focus on mismatch repair-deficient endometrial cancers.

Brief Bio:

I am a clinical fellow in Division of Gynecologic Oncology at University of Toronto. I finished my residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at University of British Columbia. I want to "grow up" to be a translational researcher and a clinician-scientist that can bridge bench to the bedside. I love hiking, traveling and trying new food 🙂

Capstone Project:

MIGOS is a multidisciplinary quality improvement project with the aim to increase same day discharge rate after minimally invasive surgery for gynecologic cancers, while improving patients’ outcomes, decreasing health care costs and improving patient satisfaction.
