Olivia Scobie is a mom and social worker specializing in postpartum mood disorders, birth trauma, LGBTQ+ family support, and parenting shame. After battling postpartum depression and anxiety (twice!), she has been on a mission to help new parents adjust to life with a baby in ways that feel safe and protect their mental health. She started Postpartum Support Toronto to create a place for parents in the GTA who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or not enjoying parenting as much as they thought they would know that they are not alone and start to build their circle of support. Olivia is also a hard core lover of pop music and throwing epic living room dance parties. She’s been known to stay up all night watching zombie movies and thinks that yoga + scotch = a stress reducing combo that can’t be beat.
