Lora Appel, post-doctoral fellow at Openlab visited the TRP Capstone Prep course. Lora shared her work in the area of applying VR to health diagnosis and care.
Lora’s work in VR explores applications in  managing chronic pain, anxiety, phobia, depression, and increasing empathy.
Students were able to try the VR headset and experience some of the work Lora is researching.
