Admission process

We review for completeness and fit with the program.

The TRP Admissions Committee makes selections.

How we make admissions decisions
The TRP is a unique program with a specific style of learning and teaching so we want to make sure it is the right place for you and that you are right for the program. Direct and open discussion is the best way to ensure a match between the program and the applicant.

- We will invite all eligible applicants who submit complete applications for an interview.
- After the interview, we forward your application and assessment to the Admissions Committee for review.
- Upon review, the Committee may issue an “Offer of Admission”. In some cases, they may defer their decision and ask for more documentation.
- If you are successful, you will be notified via the application system. The TRP is a cohort-based program with limited enrollment (~30 spots). You will have two weeks to accept, reject, or defer your offer.
- Since enrollment is limited, not all applicants who meet the minimum requirements are made offers of admission.

- Domestic: June 9, 2023
- International: May 12, 2023
Upload documents by:
- Domestic: June 23, 2023
- International: May 26, 2023
Early Entrance Award Deadline:
If you apply by March 3rd, 2023, you will be automatically considered for merit-based entrance awards of up to $5,000 CDN towards your tuition. Both international and domestic students are eligible for this award.
We will only review applications submitted through the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) online application portal.

- Register and create your profile on the SGS application portal
- Select LMTTRRMHSC as your Degree Program of Study
- Upload your supporting documents
You may check the status of your application via the online application system. We will not assess your application until:

- You have paid the SGS application fee
- Your online application is fully completed and submitted
- We have received all required documents by the deadline
Rolling admissions
We will be conducting interviews and sending offer letters on an ongoing basis as we receive applications. We therefore encourage you to apply early for these limited spots! If spots are filled, you may be placed on a waitlist.
